Our process begins with Phase 1, a fundamental evaluation of the existing fiber infrastructure surrounding potential data center locations, including the underlying owner, underground and aerial capacity, both lit and dark, and the ability to support a new data center location. Phase one gives you a foundational roadmap.
Phase 2 is a more detailed examination of the carriers’ network, manhole splice locations, and a high-level strategic planning approach. Last-mile routing and planning, study of right-of-way (ROW) for preferred routing. ROM costing and deployment approach.
In Phase 3 we create plans for connectivity from major infrastructure to the data center facility, including route diversity considerations, technology selection, and cost optimization. The developer’s/operators’ strategy will dictate the next steps. This can include writing RFPs, producing engineering drawings, managing construction, and more.
